Job Description

Account Operations is responsible for opening and maintaining accounts for both AssetMark and our custodian partners. In addition, Account Operations tracks all new account funding and paperwork outages while providing ongoing support and training to other internal AssetMark departments. Responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently open new accounts and initiate transfers.
  • Process and reconcile deposits, journal entries, and withdrawals on internal and external systems.
  • Process ongoing maintenance items such as address changes, re-registrations, and terminations on internal and external systems.
  • Produce internal reports.
  • Proactively communicate with internal AssetMark departments on issues and issue resolution.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the AssetMark program.

Advisor Services Group Associate - Pleasant Hill, CA

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the AssetMark program
  • Proactively monitor new Advisors’ initial accounts and transactions to ensure new Advisors have a good experience with the program

Billing Associate - Pleasant Hill, CA

Job Description

The Portfolio Services Group (PSG) administers and manages the account lifecycle as it relates to trading, reporting, and billing for all client directed activities across the AssetMark platform. The Billing Group within PSG specifically provides a full range of processing services including:

  • Prepare and reconcile monthly/quarterly billing cycle including:
  • Daily trade log validation
  • Fee calculation
  • Coordinate fee payment with accounting to existing broker dealers, strategists, custodians, investment managers, etc., ensuring all are paid appropriately
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly electronic statements
  • Manage & track fee rejects
  • Track average values for accounts moving within AssetMark and update files accordingly
  • Reconcile fee payments from custodians and follow-up outstanding billing issues
  • Update existing operations manual and maintenance moving forward
  • Prepare, test, and implement system specifications to improve the quality and accuracy of billing database

Responsibilities for the billing associate include:

  • Prepare and reconcile monthly client billing, including:
  • Running the audit functions and processing monthly fee calculations
  • Manual adjustments for PMAP transfers, manager changes and advisor’s last termination
  • Process Skandia’s termination fees to clients via advisors
  • Prepare and reconcile quarterly billing, including:
  • Delete average values from file for accounts terminated after quarter-end
  • Delete average values from file for accounts funded after quarter-end
  • Track average values for accounts moving within AssetMark and update files accordingly
  • Run the audit functions and process quarterly fee calculations

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day activities with third-party providers US Bancorp and Intermediaries
  • Coordinate and prepare various materials for quarterly and special mutual fund board meetings
  • Assist with Sub-Advisor changes ensuring seamless operations with Sub-Advisor and US Bancorp operations team

  • Provide leadership on cross-initiatives performed in conjunction with Compliance group, including, but not limited to, creation of reports to the Boards of Trustees.

Senior Product Specialist - Encino, CA

This is a newly created senior position within a prestigious Southern California investment management firm. The primary responsibility of this position is to communicate the strategies and activities of the Investment Management Department to key centers of influence both internal and external.
