    Online Privacy Policy

    The following privacy principles apply when you visit us on our websites, assetmark.com and ewealthmanager.com, and when you interact with our advertisements online. In this Online Privacy Policy, “we” and “our” refers to AssetMark Financial Holdings, Inc., AssetMark, Inc. AssetMark Trust Company, and AssetMark Services, Inc. (collectively, “AssetMark”). “You” refers to you, an individual.   Please note that this Online Privacy Policy does not apply to other financial service providers, such as your Financial Advisor and the firm(s) s/he is associated with.

    Information Collected Online

    • When you visit our websites, our web servers collect the name of the domain and browser you used to access the Internet, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, and your device identifier. We also collect the time and date of your visit, the URL you came from before you landed on our website, pages of our websites that you visit and how much time you spend on each page, and the URL you go to when you leave our website, and other diagnostic data.

    • When you log into your account, our web servers also collect your name, email address, and the fact that you have entered a correct password to access your account. We also collect a record of any electronically entered instructions or communications that you enter while logged into your account. We use encryption and authentication tools to protect information that we obtain from you while you are logged into our websites.

    • We also collect information that you provide to us voluntarily through our websites, including when you sign up to receive our newsletter, when you submit information through our “Contact Us” form, and when you apply for employment through our “Careers” page.  

    We Use First-Party Cookies. We Also Use Third-Party Cookies When You Direct Us To Do So

    You Can Say No To AssetMark’s Use Of Your Information For Interest-Based Advertising

    If you have affirmatively accepted performance and marketing / targeting cookies from us and directed us to disclose your information to others, we may use your information for interest-based and cross-contextual advertising.     If you affirmatively accept performance and marketing / targeting cookies when you visit our websites, we take this as your direction to share your online information with other parties. Our websites use Google Analytics, which shares data with other services to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising networks.     Our website assetmark.com also contains social media plugins for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.     There is no universally-agreed upon standard for what a company should do when it detects a “Do Not Track” signal. Our websites therefore do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
