Helping Women Reenter the Financial Planning Workforce
The CFP Board Center for Financial Planning recently concluded a pilot program designed to help experienced professionals looking to return to the workforce in financial planning positions. The pilot involved four firms and 12 internship positions, 10 of which resulted in full-time placements. With many women taking a career break to raise their families, this program is helping to close the gender gap in the profession.
