AssetMark, Inc. and AssetMark Trust Company respect your privacy.

AssetMark, Inc. and AssetMark Trust Company want you to understand what personally identifiable information we collect from you online, when you use or visit our website, assetmark.com, or when you interact with our advertisements online. Our service providers include organizations that provide services including website hosting, data analysis, email services, marketing, advertising, and helping us to evaluate the performance of our website and advertisements. These services use cookies to collect authentication details, online identifiers, cookie identifiers, IP addresses, browsing history, device identifiers, activity log files and user names. AssetMark cooperates with government, law enforcement officials, regulators and private legal process to comply with the law and legal processes. We will disclose information to government, law enforcement officials, regulators and others as we believe is necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal processes (including subpoenas and administrative summonses), to protect the property and rights of AssetMark or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be illegal, unethical or legally actionable.    

 

Does AssetMark use information that it collects online for advertising purposes?

Yes. We work with service providers, including Google, to display advertisements for our products and services on other websites. Our service providers use cookies and web beacons to collect information regarding your interaction with our website advertisements on other websites (such as LinkedIn) to provide you with targeted advertising relating to our products and services. AssetMark may also engage in cross-device data collection, which refers to the process of collecting data from separate devices that have been determined through statistical analysis to be linked or related, on behalf of visitors to our website, or persons who interact with our advertisements. AssetMark, or its service providers, may use cross-device data to deliver tailored ads to users across multiple devices.

 

Can you opt out of AssetMark’s use of your information for interest-based advertising?

Yes. If you wish not to have your information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based or targeted ads, you may opt-out by clicking this link and following the instructions on their website: networkadvertising.org/choices. Please note that this does not opt you out of being served all advertising, or even all of our advertisements. You will continue to receive generic advertisements. You may also continue to receive advertisements from AssetMark, but it will not be because you previously indicated an interest in AssetMark or our services.

 

Does AssetMark respond to "Do Not Track" signals?

No. Some internet browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference (the “DNT Signal”) wo the websites that you visit, indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret DNT Signals, nor a common definition of “tracking,” AssetMark does not currently respond to DNT Signals on its website. If you wish to opt-out of AssetMark serving you interest-base or targeted ads, you may opt-out by clicking the “opt-out” link above.    

 

Can you correct the information that AssetMark gathers about you online?  

Yes, if you entered information online and later need to correct that information, please contact us at (833) 620-0416 (toll free). Please note that if we cannot associate the information to you, we may not be able to correct it. 

 

Can other parties collect personal information about you when you visit assetmark.com?

Yes. When you visit our websites, other parties can collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites. This is because our websites include Social Plugins (“buttons”) for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. These buttons work by using code from the social media companies that allow you to connect to them, and allow them to collect information about your activity while you are on our websites, including your Internet Protocol address, the pages you visit, the device and browser you are using, and more. You can review the privacy policies of these social media companies to learn more about the data they collect, whether they engage cross-device tracking and targeted advertising, and how to manage or control the collection of data in your account settings.

 

What if you link to another website from assetmark.com?

Our website contains links to other websites that are controlled by third parties and provide access to third-party information and services. These links are provided to you as a convenience, and we are not responsible for the content, action or performance of any linked website. Does AssetMark communicate by email?

Yes. We may send you email communications that may be useful to you, including information about our products and services, or third parties with whom we do business. If you sign up for our newsletter, we will send our newsletter to you via email. You will be given the option to unsubscribe from these emails.  

 

Does AssetMark collect personal information from children?

No. AssetMark does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.
